Text Messages from Baker Fence & Gate
What you will get. If you opt in, Baker Fence & Gate may send you text messages about your free estimate, your quote, scheduling and appointment reminders, crew arrival and job updates, permit and HOA status, invoices and payment reminders, and follow-up after your job is complete.
How often. Message frequency varies and depends on your project. Most customers receive only a handful of messages tied to their estimate and their job.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
It is optional. Consenting to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. You may still work with us without opting in.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (239) 499-4283 or Office@bakerfencing.com.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
Estimates and Quotes
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. An estimate becomes binding only when you sign the written quote we provide. Prices quoted are good for 30 days from the date on the quote, after which material prices may require us to re-quote.
Quotes are based on the scope, measurements, and site conditions known at the time. If the site turns out to be different than described — buried concrete, rock, utilities, grade changes, or scope you add — we will tell you and price the change before doing the work.
Changes to the Work
Any change to the agreed scope, materials, or layout must be approved in writing by both you and Baker Fence & Gate before we perform it, including any price change.
Payment
A deposit of 50% of the quoted price is due when you sign the quote. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work. Past-due balances may be subject to collection costs as allowed by Florida law.
Scheduling, Weather, and Cancellation
Installation dates are estimates. Weather, permit timing, HOA approval, utility locates, and material availability can move a start date. We will keep you informed when a date changes.
If you cancel a signed job before we have ordered materials for it, your deposit is refundable. Once materials have been ordered, the deposit is non-refundable, because that material is bought and cut for your property. Let us know as early as you can and we will do our best to work with you.
Permits, HOA Approval, and Property Lines
We pull required permits and will help you through HOA approval where that applies. You are responsible for telling us where your property lines are and for providing a survey if one is needed. If you ask us to install based on a line you identify and that line turns out to be wrong, you are responsible for the cost of moving the fence.
We call for utility locates before digging as required by Florida law. We are not responsible for damage to private or unmarked underground lines — irrigation, invisible pet fence, low-voltage lighting, or private electrical runs — that were not marked or disclosed to us.
Workmanship Guarantee
We back our installation work with a 3-year workmanship guarantee covering our labor — post setting, alignment, and gate operation. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come back and make it right at no charge to you.
The guarantee does not cover defects in the materials themselves, which are covered separately by the manufacturer’s own warranty; damage from storms, wind, flooding, falling trees, vehicles, or impact; damage caused by soil movement, erosion, or ground settling; normal weathering, fading, warping, or graying of wood; damage from third parties, animals, or misuse; or any alteration made to the fence by someone other than Baker Fence & Gate.
Use of This Website
The content on this site — text, photos, logos, the Baker Fence & Gate name, and the tagline “Love Thy Neighbor — But With Boundaries” — belongs to Baker Fence & Gate and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
Any drawings, measurements, or estimates generated by tools on this site are for planning purposes only and are not a binding quote.
You agree not to use this site to submit false information, to send automated or spam submissions, or to interfere with the site’s operation.

This site may link to sites we do not control, including our financing partner and our social media pages. We are not responsible for their content or their terms.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Lee County, Florida.
